So it has been quite some time since my last blog. Life moves forward...however slowly or quickly. Each day has its own pace... depending on what might be happening.

Spoke with Bruno (oncologist) and he has decided to try a new oral medication to keep the cancer from returning... may have less or more side effects... but feels we need to try! Also agreed we can WAIT to do the next MRI! Another month!! I have decided to wait anyway so it is nice that we are on the same page! As I have said..."do I really need to know"!!

We have been busy planning our next fundraisers. "Ladies Day Out" is all set!! June 3rd!! Can't wait to see many of you!

Agi is working HARD everyday to help draw this foundation in to the light!! Thank you Agi!!

Had the opportunity to spend an evening with some wonderful friends...Agi, Linda and Val! Had a great dinner and dessert and spent the evening catching up and sharing! It had been so long since we had been together...one more of the things I needed to do!! Moving forward...fixing those bridges!! I love you guys!!

Spent the next night with Cynthia. It was great to catch up, laugh and share our evening!

Unfortunatly, last night Nancy and I attended the funeral of a very young mother who finished her battle with this UNFAIR disease!! So many young people, with so many YOUNG families...left in its wake!! So difficult to explain to anyone other than each other the feelings that go through our heads. We move forward... enjoy our time together... with our families... with our friends... with our own thoughts.

You see the things that others do to abuse their bodies, the people in there lives... or take things or each other for granted and you want to SCREAM! Life is too short... too beautiful... too full of life to ignore or abuse.

How long do any of us have here on this plane?? We never really know... we don't write that book...as Agi always says... but we can write our OWN book while we are here. We can be certain to live life to the fullest, enjoy the things life has to offer. Love FULL Y the people that touch you, be kind to those that you meet in passing... give forgiveness and accept forgiveness. Life is too short... not just for a cancer patient... but for all of us... you never really know what tomorrow will hold!

So today... today Nancy and I will spend posting up flyers, sharing our time...quietly understanding the others thoughts and words. Not just because we are friends but because we share a bond that NO ONE wants to share. We know we would have been friends with or with out cancer... but cancer definitly links us in a way that is hard to explain. It's nice to have someone who "gets it" with out really having to say it or explain it.

We both know that IF the time comes... neither of us REALLY knows how we would make it with out the other. We CAN talk about it together... not with anyone else. We know we don't want to be "there", where ever there is...alone! We have a bond so hard to explain... like we have been BEST FRIENDS forever!! We each have so many other people in our lives that we love so dearly... but we hold a special place for each other. It's that CLUB! The club no one REALLY wants to join!! But we are here...and we share, and we understand and we comfort each other! We support each other. Telling each other WE WILL BEAT this! We will be here for a VERY long time... together!! I Love you Nancy!! Don't know where I would be some days with out you!

So, days move slowly or quickly depending on the day... and the one thing I can tell you  we all need is to connect. Connect with those people in your lives!! REALLY connect... let them know how you feel... how important they are to you! Fix what may be broken... forgive and be forgiven. LIFE is too short.

I will spend my days, know matter how short or long, being with those people who I care for and who care for me. I will move forward each day doing the things I need to do, the things I love to do and being certain to help others who unfortuantaly join our club!!

Consider helping us, Nancy, Aunt Jackie and the others in our EVER growing group, help others battling this UNFAIR opponent... the only way we can... Day By Day!!

Thank you to all who share my EVERYDAYS...my husband, Len, my daughter, Deana my son Christian...they get the "ugly" me...and my friends who always seem to be there... Nancy, Agi, Francine and so many other!! I Love you all!

Today was filled with planning! Planning our next fund raising events!
June 3rd is our "Ladies Day Out" event. We should have something for everyone!! Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Party Lite, Tupperware, Longaberger Baskets, Premier Designs, Mary Kay, Barefoot Books, 31 Bags, Take 2 Designs, Reiki, Numerology and Palm Readings.
We will have SEVERAL baskets/items for raffle as well as Door Prizes. We will have refresments and time to share!! Please come SHOP for our cause and share some quaility time with us. 1:00 - 4:00.

Then I booked Colonial Park for Saturday Sept. 15th for our "First Annual Family BBQ and Auction"!! We are so excited!! The pavillion is brand new and is right near the paddle boats, miniature golf and a new playground! We will have FOOD and games for the children and HOPEFULLY the adults! Most importantly, it will be a day of SHARING!  What better way to end the summer then with a BIG picnic?!? We hope to be able to share info about our foundation to more and more people! Please put the date aside and plan to share the day with us!!

The last event I worked on today was the Annual Softball Game between the South Brunswick Police Dept. and the South Brunswick Fire Dept. They are planning this for Sept 22nd with a rain date of the 23rd. We are still in the planning stages of this but it looks like we will be providing food and FUN!! We will keep you informed as we know more!

This is how I fill my days AND nights!! When we are not working, our WHOLE family is working tirelessly to bring this foundation into the light! The more our name gets out there, the more volunteers and money we make...the more people we can help!

Please join us at some or all of our events and know that you have helped so many people battling this devastating illness. Or consider volunteering to be on an event committee to help pull these events together.

You can ALWAY donate time to assit a family with cancer. We can always use volunteers to run errands, transport to appointments or just spend time with a family battling cancer! There are so many things... we can all do something!

Consider helping us help others the only way we can... Day By Day!!

Once again, I thank you all for following my blogs. It is through you, our friends and families, that we get the word out. That we can educate others about just how DEVESTATING the effects of cancer are on a family... a WHOLE family!

Thank you!
